Adult Education

Adult Education at MJCBY organizes programs for members to attend both in-person and virtually. While the Jewish-related topics vary, they are extremely interesting and presented by experts in the field, many of whom have written books on the subject. Past events included:

• A film screening of a documentary about a Jewish astronaut, which was followed by a conversation with the film's Executive Producer and the astronaut himself
• The relationship between science and religion
• The Holocaust
• Sports

Many programs focus on Jewish-related history, such as Jewish delis, America's Jewish women, American Jewish politics, Jerusalem's archeology, Jewish name-changing in America, and the history of those Jewish immigrants who transformed Wall Street and shaped modern America.
