WEB: Release #1

Here are the website updates for Release #1:

• In the Main Menu & Footer Menu Who: We Are will become Welcome
• Under Welcome:
• The current Welcome link and associated page will be deleted because it's mostly redundant with the home page
• The History link will be removed until we have time to redesign the history page
• The links and associated pages for Our Clergy, Our Professional Staff, and Board of Directors will be replaced with Meet Our Team with subsidiary links to the Rabbi's and Cantor's pages
• Interfaith Falmilies will remain unchanged for now and being considered for moving into a new Inclusion page along with LGBTQAI+ and Physical Disabilities
• Sign Up for Eblasts (in the sidebar) will be deleted
• The current Newsletter page will be updated
• Map & Directions and Contact Us will be replaced with Visit Us | Contact Us
• Other Changes: We are connecting the Google Calendar to the Events listing on the website:
• The goal is to display a full listing of upcoming events that is more user-friendly than reading the calendar while minimizing the administrative burden of keeping both current
• We have installed a plugin called an event aggregator that will scan our Google calendar nightly (or on demand) and update the list of events that will display on the website
• Neda will be able to customize each event with graphics and other date-specific information
• We are still working to operationalize this feature and it should be available within a week
