The website is our digital front door on the Internet
For people who do not know us, our website is how we make our first impression — if our website is not attractive and engaging, and the content current, it will be a turnoff to potential members
Most aspects of synagogue life intersect with the website — there are many stakeholders who are responsible for its content
Having defined roles and processes for the care and feeding of the website is essential for it to be well maintained
Perform updates to the content of web pages as their content evolves
Proactively engage the right individuals in the community when there are changes needed in their areas of interest
Monitor the performance of the website using analytic tools in WP and on the hosting platform; apprise and advise the Executive Director, the President(s), and Vice President(s) of issues that require their attention
Mentor one or two members of the congregation to ensure that there are at least two people who have the knowledge and skills to maintain the website
Office Manager (or delegate)
Ensure that all public events are displayed on the WP Events Calendars
