To support Music, special concerts and other activities and programs organized by the Cantor

To help cover the cost of materials, supplies and additional training for the members of the Chevra Kadisha. The synagogue’s Chevra Kadisha acts as Shomrim (Guards) and/or prepares the body for burial on request.  ***Currently inactive. If you would like to participate please contact the Rabbi.

Used to support the costs of education at the synagogue.

For extra activities not covered in the budget for Minyonaires, a Hebrew High School stipend, and to subsidize the cost of teen trips to Israel or other USCJ teen programs

To provide food both for shiva and for when congregational member is unable due to illness or otherwise to prepare food.

Provides vital support for the religious, educational and social programming that MJCBY provides, from religious services to counseling, from Shalom Yeladim to adult education to roof and air conditioning repairs.

To cover costs of preserving and preparing materials for presentations regarding MJCBY history

To support Tzedakah and Gemilut Chasadim by the Rabbi.

To maintain and refurbish the building

To support scholarship and extra curricular activities for Shalom Yeladim Nursery School.

To support the community soup kitchen and homeless needs by providing school bags and supplies to underprivileged children.

To purchase and repair prayerbooks, Chumashim (Bibles) and Library Books
